Membrane technology and, particularly, ceramic membranes are emerging in many European countries but not yet in Portugal… LIFE Hymemb project included the characterization of stakeholder’s values, believes and attitudes to test the resistances, changes, obstacles and opportunities of using the hybrid PAC/MF (powdered activated carbon/microfiltration) process with ceramic membranes in drinking water production. LIFE Hymemb on the 9th EXPO ÁGUA

LIFE Hymemb was present at the 9th EXPO ÁGUA, a reference event for the water sector in Portugal, held in 18-19 November 2014, in LNEC’s Congress Center (Lisbon). The event brought together the key players in Portuguese-speaking countries, utilities, professionals and academic community, who discussed the major themes in Water Supply and Sanitation.

In November, LIFE Hymemb was given highlight in Água & Ambiente Journal with a full-page exclusive interview with LNEC’s project coordinator Maria João Rosa.
